Time porn refers to television shows and other entertainment programs that show characters having too much free time. The U.S. sitcom “Friends” is probably the best-known piece of time porn. There, the main characters seem to spend all their time sitting in coffee shops, chatting. Like sexual pornography (or porn) attracts people by showing them sex, time porn attracts people (normally busy, working people) by showing them people enjoying free time.
